We are committed to preserving Whitmore Lakes as a serene and tranquil environment for all who visit. We kindly ask all guests to adhere to the following rules:

• 1. All visitors, including those who are not swimming, must purchase a ticket before coming to Whitmore Lakes and check in at reception on arrival before proceeding to their chosen activity.
• 2. We are an un-lifeguarded facility, participation in any of our water activities is entirely at your own risk. Please familiarise yourselves with our full terms and conditions before visiting.
• 3. For the comfort and privacy of those using the lakes, we do not allow anyone to ‘have a look around’. If you would like a tour of our site, please speak to a member of staff who will be happy to assist.
• 4. To preserve the natural beauty of the area, we ask that should you bring a picnic, you stick to the dedicated picnic area. Please avoid bringing any single-use plastics and help us keep the area clean by using the bins provided. No glass bottles are to be bought on to site.
• 5. Whitmore Lakes is home to a variety of wildlife. Please do not disturb the animals and plants. Please also refrain from feeding the wildlife, as this disrupts their natural diet and can cause harm.
• 6. Dogs are not allowed in or around the lakes. However, they are allowed in The Cake Shack but they must stay on leads at all times.
• 7. All guests under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, with a supervision ratio of no greater than 3:1. The minimum age for children to swim in Swan Lake is 11 years old and aqua sports on Grebe Lake is 8 years old. The Sauna is for use by over 18s only.
• 8. No large groups of teenagers or stag/hen parties without prior agreement.
• 9. Smoking or vaping is not permitted around the lakes. Please use the designated smoking area in the car park.
• 10. For the safety and comfort of all guests, alcohol is not allowed on the premises. Anyone who is suspected to be under the influence will be asked to leave.
• 11. The use, possession, or distribution of illegal substances is strictly prohibited onsite. Any violation of this rule will result in immediate removal from the premises.
